Help your leaders to own their role

and make a bigger impact in your business

A 12-week coaching program to upgrade the skills, mindset and confidence of high-potential leaders in your business

Does this sound familiar?

You probably gave someone in your team an opportunity to lead based on their potential… but an opportunity alone doesn’t mean they are going to nail it automatically. There’s only so far that their intuition and ‘learning on the job’ will take them.

There’s a big difference between being a great worker and a great leader. Empowering a leader requires consistent mentoring and specific tools.

You know you have the right person in the right seat to make your business better, but how are you going to help them to get there?

Growing the leaders in your team is hard

Growing the leaders in your team is hard

You don’t have the time to invest in them

You know the high-potential leaders in your business will reach their potential eventually, but it will happen quicker if someone invests the time to mentor them. But your senior people have a lot ‘on their plate’, which makes it hard to find the time to invest in your up-and-coming leaders.

They need specific tools and you’re not sure where to find them

Most businesses solve problems and make decisions based on a combination of intuition and ‘trial and error’. This often works perfectly fine, but it would be easier if your business had access to tried and tested methods and tools that can help your leaders be more effective, without the wasted time and effort.

This often works perfectly well, but it would be easier if your business had access to tried and tested methods and tools that can help your leaders be more effective, without the wasted time and effort.

‘Learning through osmosis’ is no longer an option

One of the best ways for the high-potential leaders in your business to level up is to see how you operate and mimic how you do things. But in today’s world of remote working, the up-and-coming leaders in your team are spending less face to face time with you than ever before. This makes it tough for them to learn by observing.

If you know the leaders in your team have a lot of potential to make a bigger impact, and you’re looking for coaching support and specific strategies to help them realise it, you’ve arrived at the right place.

Welcome to Realise

‘Realise’ is an innovative program that will help high potential leaders level up their skills and realise their potential, faster.

Over a 12 week period, we’ll help our leader group to create the space, momentum and confidence they need to own their leadership roles.  We’ll empower them to become the confident, impactful leaders that your business needs.

They’ll have personalised one-on-one and group support from the Human to Human team and their Realise Collective (limited to 12 members per group). We’ll help them remove roadblocks, create the right plan for them and most importantly, follow it.

About your facilitator

Back in 2010, I was given a chance by my employer to lead the change I wanted to see inside our business.

I started my new role brimming with enthusiasm and excitement, but it didn’t take too long before I started to realise how much I didn’t know about making great things happen. It was harder than I expected to create change and influence my colleagues.  But the biggest battle by far was ‘between my ears’. To become the leader I wanted to be, I had to develop the belief that I had what it took.

As we all do, I eventually learnt these skills through trial and error (i.e. the slow and hard way) and since Human to Human was born in 2016, we’ve had the privilege of helping industry leaders to fast-track their growth, realise their potential and take their businesses to new and exciting places. In other words, to deliver the tools and training to our clients that my younger self wished that I had!

Confidence

Your team can spend their time trying to improve on their weaknesses, but we’d prefer to help them understand their superpowers and amplify them in their role.

They will learn:

  • Their personal strengths and the difference they make in your business
  • How to structure their role to harness their unique skills and gifts
  • Leadership Styles, and which one they’d like to be
  • Strategies to compensate for their limitations

Stepping into a new leadership role isn’t all sunshine and lollipops. Things get hard and it’s how your leaders navigate these moments that will shape their growth and the path of their career.

We will cover:

  • The specific barriers to being the leader they want to be
  • What is Imposter Syndrome and how to overcome it
  • How to build resilience and change direction
  • The power of thinking big and creating a growth mindset

Time & Space

How we spend our time is the biggest determinant of how our life will look in the future. In this module, we’ll show our leaders how to make sure they are doing important things, not just urgent ones.

We will cover:

  • The factors that drive personal peak performance
  • How to eliminate, delegate and automate tasks and say no without annoying their colleagues
  • Designing their ideal week (and making it happen)
  • Decision-making for busy people

Vision without a plan is just a delusion. In this module, we’ll help our leaders to identify the important things they need to achieve and create a structure that will not only keep them and their team focussed, but will maximise the chance of success.

They will learn:

  • How to think like a business owner
  • What is vision and why it is business critical
  • How to set goals and create a 90-day plan like Google do
  • Tools to stay on track and get their colleagues involved

Momentum

Working with others to get things done is often the biggest challenge that leaders face.  If your leader is out of their comfort zone in the people side of the role, this module is for them.

We will cover:

  • How to build strong and productive working relationships
  • Strategies for communicating with different types of people
  • How to effectively express your view and explain your ideas
  • How to handle difficult conversations and turn them into powerful moments
  • Creating, harnessing and sustaining motivation with peers

When it comes to changing how they do things, the majority of people are at best apathetic and at worst, defiant! But if you want to improve things in your business, having leaders who can take people on the journey of change is critical.

We will cover:

  • Leading through change and reframing conflict
  • Why leaders need to think like scientists when it comes to creating change
  • How to turn naysayers into supporters
  • How to engage your team in designing solutions to their problems
  • Techniques for overcoming resistance to your ongoing projects

Frequently Asked Questions

Our 2023 intake is now closed. Spaces fill quickly, so if your nominated leader can’t join this intake, pre-register here to make sure you’re kept in the loop on our next intake, in early 2024.

No problems at all! We record every session and will ALWAYS make sure they have plenty to do in between each session.

To ensure we can offer a high level of support to each group member, we cap group sizes at 12.

We will work with them to develop a plan for the 12 weeks that reflects their particular challenges and goals. While the program is a ‘choose your own adventure’ of sorts, the general areas we’ll target include understanding and harnessing your strengths, owning your challenges, goal-setting and business planning, designing your ideal week, influencing and communication skills and change management for teams.

*Shudders* Absolutely not! We’ll always present some important principles, but our workshops will require participants to interact, complete tasks and make important decisions.  They will get out what you put in, so we will be encouraging them to actively take part in all aspects of the program.

Enrolment on the program includes 2 x one-on-one coaching sessions. One of these can be booked at a time of your choosing, and the other will take place at the conclusion of the 12 weeks.

They can expect to receive multiple layers of support throughout the program, including online workshops, live Q&A sessions and supporting materials to turn their learnings into action. They’ll also have ongoing support through their Realise Collective (a WhatsApp group), where the Human to Human team, and fellow group members will be available to answer any questions they have.

Not at all. The principles and tools in the program are designed for leaders in any industry, and we’ll help customise them for the specifics of each participants’ situation and business.

The Realise program was designed for people in leadership positions, such as Operations Managers, Practice Managers, Heads Of, Marketing Managers and General Managers. That being said, if your team leader has a different job title, but their role requires them to prioritise business improvement and change how things are done, there’s a strong chance they are perfect for it. Feel free to get in touch if you want to check.

The best way to have your questions answered is by sending us a chat message through the website. If you’d like to arrange a call to talk through the program and whether it’s right for you, just follow this link and book in a time.

A note from Michael...

I believe that everyone has greatness inside of them. Being given the opportunity to lead others is only your ‘ticket to the game’. You can have all the potential in the world, but it takes some crucial ingredients to turn that potential into something you’re proud of.

You need:

  • Self-awareness
  • Clarity over where you want to take things
  • To be decisive and adjust as you go
  • To make important decisions about how you spend your time
  • To prioritise a lot of important conversations
  • Empathy for your co-workers, and above all else,
  • You need to draw on some courage.

I created Realise to help people become the leaders and professionals they know they can be.

With our help, you will be able to push through the fear, build more productive relationships with your colleagues and take charge of how you spend each day. Realise will help you make a real difference in your business. We’ll challenge you to rethink what is possible for you to achieve in your role… and in your life.

We would love to help you Realise how great you really are.
